Prologue
“Chaos, it is time to prove yourself a deity. Taking 13 years of lesser deity schooling and 4 years of higher deity schooling with…*sigh* Manageable grades, you will be assigned your first divine task.”
The deity that spoke to Chaos was the Goddess of Order, Aurelya, responsible for keeping the hierarchy amongst gods.
Unlike most gods that hide behind magic to make themselves appear perfect in the eyes of mortals, she was one of the few who was naturally perfect.
The god she spoke to was the sole deity of chaos only appointed because no one else wanted the position and he couldn't get into any other domain due to his low… everything.
Miraculously, Chaos is being assigned his first task.
“Your task is to manage the Wild Card dungeon. This will add variables to the world of Arcana. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Lady Aurelya.”
“Why so formal? We went to school together, or are you still…”
Aurelya spoke as if she was offended.
“I shouldn’t receive special treatment just because we know each other…”
When leaving Chaos trotted out of the audience chamber for tradition's sake.
“Just walk, I don't care about tradition!”
Aurelya shouted as he continued trotting.
Aurelya said something else after that but if he waited he would incur her wrath and he had already suffered it for too long.
Exiting the palace Chaos could see a line of other newly appointed gods extending with no end in sight. They could also see the colorful deities that made up the line from the white light of holy gods to the black shadows of less trustworthy gods.
Chaos was searching for a place to avoid gazes, and even in the realm of the deities, there were blind spots. He made his way to one in a rush to escape from Aurelya’s gaze; he hastily reached into my robe and pulled out a stack of index cards the first was titled.
Chaos cram cards
Despite being titled, the cards were anything but organized. It would have been just as efficient to shuffle them and pick a card, yet this seamless disharmony is perfect for someone like him to effortlessly find what is needed:
Chaos cram card
Wild card dungeon
One of the world's recycling bin
Accessed by the Land of Arcana: wilderness
Making his way to the dungeon he reviewed more important ideas to make a great first impression as a deity.
Chaos cram card
World Dungeons
Dungeons of worlds that gather parts of dying worlds together while only the strongest escape to live again in a different world
Chaos cram card
Wild cards
Those summoned in the wild card dungeon who have no destiny (they can screw over other gods)
Important: if you are lucky enough to get them don't be too hard on them the more they screw with other gods the more likely you are to be promoted (you're doing your job as a god of chaos)
While reviewing for his first appearance Chaos passed by one card that caught his eye
Chaos cram card
Dungeon variables
Every time the dungeon is activated it’s different from the last, from the monsters to the areas that make them it's all different every time
Reading this reminds him of a different card. After fiddling for a minute he found what he was looking for.
Chaos cram card
Dungeon abnormalities
There have been recordings of dungeons being abnormal in scale and difficulty if managed correctly; it is a shortcut to respect and promotion to a higher deity. There is no way of knowing what dungeon you will get and there is no knowing if it will be an anomaly
Note: it is more likely for an abnormal dungeon to appear in the Wild card dungeons due to their inherent variability
The reason he remembers this is because of one specific case where the god was assigned to an abnormal dungeon and was stuck there until it was finished. Rumor was if they couldn't finish the god would be stuck there forever. Such thoughts scared him to his core.
With his mind refreshed he entered the world of Arcana and made his way to the dungeon.

A “man” woke up confused a moment ago he was playing video games when he got a text message it was simply:
Do you want to be Isekai`d?
Thinking it was a friend he answered
Yes, of course, I want to be Isekai`d!
Remember yesterday I…
Before he could finish, strips of light appeared around him. Looking down he could see a magic circle similar to the ones you would see in any fantasy world. As his vision grew blurry from the light, he awoke. Looking around he saw a sight only witnessed in dreams. Many races that only existed in fantasy are now before him from orcs, goblins, and ogres to elves, dwarves, and halflings.
Yet there was even more variety than that. An example would be orcs, some have a fat body and pig faces, others have green skin and an exaggerated muscular body, and even more have black and charcoal-like skin and a more realistic muscular body.
Yet amongst all of this diversity one thing he noticed almost immediately.
‘Am I the only human here?!’
He couldn’t see the end as the area was just that big. The only reason he knew there was an end was because of a translucent wall made of ever-changing mist marked an edge. No creature was able to see exactly what was on the other side, but whatever it was he could see the shadow of creatures move.
‘There are likely monsters on the other side…’
There were mountains of supplies from food and water to clothes and survival kits; people were taking whatever they could get. One item he noticed immediately was a robe.
There was nothing specifically great about it except it looked like a medieval robe worn by common folk making it a perfect disguise.
‘If my years of reading isekai stories taught me anything it’s that if you stand out you’ll likely die.’
He collected a few other essentials. There was no conflict on who gets what because there was an overflow of supplies in comparison to the people.
Some time passed before people started to mingle and form something akin to adventuring parties. It could be concluded they were adventures before this began.
‘I knew my lack of social skills would come to haunt me eventually.’
From the knowledge of his several years of game time, he could make one conclusion.
You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
`If you don’t have a party you will either progress very slowly or die there is no in-between.’
For now, he decided to wait. There is always a catch to everything, and if his knowledge of these stories serves him correctly, then even someone like him with little real strength will be given a way to fight. With few options, he walked to the stockpile of equipment and took a dagger and light armor. Where he noticed someone else who was like him, using a robe to disguise themselves but they did. He noticed they had food and a water skin in their robe despite having a good amount of food stocked where he was sitting but unlike him, he took a spear, a sword, and another robe with them. They were not the only ones who were gathering supplies but what made them stand apart was his golden eye.
'Why does it feel like he is looking into my soul?!’
However, despite his golden eye, he had a gut feeling that they were human too.
However, just as quickly as he appeared they disappeared and he went to wait for what he believed would be an explanation to this.
—————————————
After what felt like an eternity but was likely only 15 minutes, A figure appeared floating above everyone. They were wearing black light armor with cracks that glowed a hellish orange, seemingly demonic while in their main hand, they wielded a staff and on their off one, I could see a book. If it was a video game, he would be a mage. This is when the first expected sight greeted my eyes: a status window that shined a golden brass color. It was an announcement window with the following written:
Chaos
“——”
No words were written yet, however one could infer that the figure floating above would be Chaos. For a moment all the figure did was look around. The window said the following:
Notice
(Chaos is surveying the area be mindful or risk your life)
Most stayed silent but a few could be heard gossiping, one was brazen enough to speak loudly enough to be heard but not understood. For a moment Chaos stood still he pointed his staff to the outspoken individual and in seconds one saw a reddish-black mist where once stood a person. Silence befell all. The tension built as the mysterious figure who could likely end everyone in a wave of his hand continued to survey the area.
‘I was right; standing out is a bad idea…’
Once he was done, an upscaled projection almost like a hologram of his upper body appeared and faded before reaching the ground.
One could see many details that no one could see from afar. Some details include the dark almost black bags under his eyes, so much so that they could be mistaken for makeup, their eyes had an emptiness to them as if he didn't care what happened next, and lastly,
`nervous sweat?’
At least that’s what they assumed it to be that made him believe he was wearing a poker face.
After a moment it spoke all could hear but couldn't understand him until the window popped up:
Chaos
“Welcome, wildcards to the tutorial dungeon… you will have to face many challenges to live just a little longer.”
Chaos
“However as your… supervisor, I must inform you that you lot are unlucky as this time around the dungeon is much larger and difficult it’s almost another world.”
Chaos
“If you are wondering a normal one could be beaten in a few days I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes you years to beat this one.”
As he said this he was laughing but despite the difference in language, it could be concluded that he was nervous due to how forced the laugh seemed to be.
Chaos
“To give you a chance I’ll teach you the basics… To start, if you say status a window will pop up with information about you, I’ll give you a minute to study it before we continue.”
For a moment it was silent before someone said “status” leading to a domino effect of everyone saying it. Viewing his status window from top to bottom he saw a mugshot of himself next to it was:
Name: Hexomega-35 Height: 5,8
Age:17. Race: Human
Class:(none) [more]
I was stunned not because of the status window but by the name.
‘Why was I such a dumb child?!’
Chaos:
“The name picked was the one most people know you by and also only the first; your last name will be earned.”
The name it showed was the gamer tag that Hex made when he was 5.
After getting over the embarrassment caused by his younger self he continued by clicking the more button.
From what was essentially an ID it expanded to show more details. There was a web graph that showed the user's stats ranging from 0-100, the stats shown clockwise:
Intelligence Strength
10 13
Magic Agility
10 12
Luck Endurance
32 12
Next to my stats were 2 boxes one labeled Traits and the other titled Abilities was empty while the other had a gift icon…
Chaos:
“I left you all a gift, it's a free trait, the quality is determined by your luck from this point on you will have to earn them.”
Looking up from the screen Hex can see Chaos and his projection lying down with his hand supporting his head as if he were on a bed.
With a click, Hex opened the gift
Traits:
Foresight (epic rank)- (its effects are limited by your level)
Gives the user a good gut feeling about things.
Chaos
“All of you had these traits from the moment you were teleported here but now you know what they can do.”
There was one last section at the very bottom of the status window a small summary of the person titled Bio it was obstructed by a message
Only other players can read this. :)
This was placed on top of a glitchy mess that was his bio. It is almost guaranteed that some people want to speak out but none want to meet the same fate as the first.
Chaos:
“Done then? Good, next is levels. You will eventually level up by killing monsters. The threshold is different for each person.”
Chaos spoke while switching positions every five seconds.
Chaos:
“As for classes at level 5 depending on your original personality you will get a selection of classes.”
Chaos:
“You’ll figure out the rest of the mechanics later, I won’t waste time explaining them, especially because they don't apply to everyone—”
“Good luck
Ps. This area is considered spawn but don’t get comfortable you don’t respawn”
With the projection turning into a black mist no one could see for a few seconds. However, everyone heard what came next:
Chaos:
“Fuck.”
“FUCK!”
Once the mist cleared everyone looked up spotting Chaos rubbing his face as if he slammed it into a wall.
“You saw none of this—!”
“You saw none of this!”
With those words, Chaos pointed his staff towards the mist walls before lowering his staff. The walls of mist that had surrounded all of them now dissipated and Chaos flew away before anyone could speak.
—————————————
Chaos continued to fly far from spawn due to one simple fact
`What the hell?! I’ve never seen a dungeon this big’
The size of the dungeon exceeded all known size limits even on paper the largest dungeons would be the size of a small continent, not a different world.
Chaos prepared for this scenario, by following the guide. Since the wild card dungeon is so infamous for its abnormalities there was a guide made to manage it. At best it could only prepare, not help. The guide made it a point to set up a backup observation room as the chances of being trapped were never zero.
Chaos cram cards—
Observation room
Used by gods and mortals alike to spectate the dungeon.
Note. It’s an observation room, not a control room, you can’t control the dungeon.
The observation room was in a naturally made stalagmite surrounded by more stalagmites and stalactites.
These in particular were formed by a dead god with only the top of its skull being visible what god it was is lost to time its power lingering enough to repel most creatures from attempting to approach the observation room.
Turning on the several monitors squeezed into the wall as if it were a security center. Chaos could monitor every individual in the dungeon
`I should view spawn’
What greeted his eyes was not wild cards, but monsters that normally should not be able to spawn as starting enemies.
These were Ogres, Giants, and Cyclops. Monsters that are normally final bosses for tutorials are now the start.
“I must have underestimated the dungeon's difficulty. I can't just let them die, if I do I might be stuck here forever!”
Chaos has already tried to send a message to his superior but it was not sent, likely meaning that the dungeon also blocks messages. Without having orders he has to decide quickly else the wild cards will be slaughtered.
Chaos will have to step in or leave them to their fate.
