Part 1 - Clark Hollow (#1)

Through the tranquil woodland trail I wandered, leaves crunching beneath my feet, when reality itself seemed to tear open before me. A shimmering portal materialized among the trees, its edges rippling like disturbed water. Before I could retreat, an invisible force yanked me forward into its depths.

I tumbled through a kaleidoscope of cosmic wonders. Brilliant purple auroras danced around me, sparks of celestial energy crackled and popped like fierce lightning against the backdrop of countless worlds. Strange, ethereal voices echoed through the void as entire planets whirled past in their celestial dance through the infinite expanse of space.

My cosmic journey ended abruptly as I crashed onto the cratered surface of a massive asteroid. As I struggled to my feet, the chaos around me decelerated until time itself seemed frozen. The cosmos stretched endlessly before me, painted in deep blues and royal purples, with distant planets suspended like jewels against the velvet darkness. In that moment, absolute silence pressed against my ears.

"Where am I?" I whispered into the void.

The answer came in the form of catastrophe. A planet in the distance erupted in a spectacular explosion, its shockwave hurtling me back into the swirling temporal stream. Once again, I was swept up in the cosmic current until I plummeted toward an unknown world.

I landed hard on a seemingly endless plain of swaying grass. The monotony of the landscape was unsettling – no trees, no mountains, nothing but windswept vegetation stretching to every horizon. The ground beneath my feet began to tremble, throwing me off balance. With a deafening roar, the planet's crust split apart, releasing rivers of molten rock that quickly engulfed everything in sight.

To my horror, I discovered I could float in the magma unscathed – but this was no mercy. I was trapped, unable to swim through the thick liquid or break free from its grasp. As the reality of my situation sank in, so did the terrifying truth: I had become an eternal prisoner of this molten world, conscious but immobile, destined to drift in this fiery sea until the end of time itself.
