Chapter 10

  After Remy woke up he started scouting the surroundings. He encountered few more imps but didn’t fight them. He kept note of how many imps there were to know their numbers. After going a bit further, the concentration of imps increased and he noticed something new.

  [Elite Imp: Level 24]

  The Elite Imps looked just a bit buffer and taller. Remy went further in and eventually the normal imps were too much to sneak by and the elite imps numbers had increased.

  Remy retreated back until eventually there was no trace of imps. Then he remembered he hadn’t checked his Skills for a long time.

  Remy then started to clear out the imps on the outer edge of the forest because the density was less and he could fight the imps individually without attracting other imps into the battle.

  But of course things don’t always go as planned and inevitably while fighting the sixth imp, another imp heard the sounds of battle and came to investigate.

  As he was dodging a fireball another came and hit him in the chest in an explosion of flames. It burnt through the shirt and reached his skin burning it a bit but most of it was caught by the shirt. He got a bit distracted allowing the imps to cast more fireballs. He caught a fireball in his gauntlets and dodged the remaining fireball. The imps were already preparing fireballs but this time he was ready. After dodging the fireballs he moved forward until they released their fireballs, which he dodged. He soon got close enough that dodging was considerably harder than before. After dodging the next volley of fireballs he charged at the closest imp and punched it, till it died. While doing this, he got hit by a fireball in the back burning of the last of his shirt and slightly charring his skin. He then made quick work of the remaining imp. It was tricky to fight two imps at once without taking damage but possible.
