Arya’s pov

  The same with the battles there were four tasks but unlike the battles, the four tasks were different.

  Alex didn’t waste much time and simply pointed at the garden maze and said

  “We had reconstructed the maze for the wedding now the pathways are different. Your first task is to escape the maze, no catch.”

  I looked at him curiously as I was sure there was a catch but since he didn’t pn on expining I simply went into the maze, my dress trailing behind me.

  The door smmed shut after I entered as I started to maneuver through the maze, I started running after a minute when the maze started closing up behind me, I could still escape even if I was caught but that just looked uncomfortable. It took five minutes to complete the maze I dashed out of the entrance to see Joe standing there with a smile as gestured for me to come.

  He handed me a bottle of water to drink which I quickly drained as he introduced the next task to me

  “I will give you five seconds to see an image, you’re to draw that image.”

  I sighed as I took the pencil and sketch pad on the table and said to Joe

  “Why do I feel like you guys didn’t try that much on the task?”

  “That’s your misconception.”

  I just nodded as the image I was to draw appeared, it was a depiction of the st nd battle, bodies were everywhere of humans and the corrupted.

  “Tragic.”

  Five seconds were up and I got to draw, I started with the background before starting to put in the bodies, toppled buildings were next and adding some fire, blood and rain I was done. Seven minutes.

  I handed the sketchpad to him and he nodded and told me to go ahead, not before saying

  “You can draw.”

  Naturally. The third and fourth tasks were in the same manner, easy. And with the way things were looking, I had a hunch that the quizzes were harder than the tasks.

  I reunited with Lynn after the tasks were finished as she said to me

  “How well do you know Aqua?”

  “Pretty well, we chat a lot. Why?”

  She didn’t expin and simply pushed me up the podium. Alex came back holding four different colored cards as he said

  “This is the st trial future cousin, each card has three questions, and you simply have to get two right to pass, so a total of eight answers. Simple yes? And it will be your automatic win if your opponent can’t answer”

  I scrutinized him as I stared at the other two beside him

  “Who exactly am I going up against right now?”

  “Oh, not us! It wouldn’t be fair as we’ve already seen the questions, just give us a few seconds, the participant’s microphone is being set up!”

  I just nodded and rested on the podium before blinking with curiosity as the speakers released feedback before a beautiful teasing voice was heard!

  “I’m ready Alex…”

  Aqua? I ughed happily when I realized who was my supposed opponent, Alex was going to regret this.

  “Ok let’s start. The first question is what year did Aqua earn the title goddess? Expin.”

  I couldn’t even open my mouth to answer when Aqua’s voice came through the speakers

  “I know that….. But I concede. Next question.”

  She successfully shut down everyone, my cousins looked confused and her cousins looked like they just shot themselves in the leg, Alex asked the second question and Aqua simply replied with

  “The choreographer is nice and I concede. Since Arya has gotten two answers correct we can move to the next quiz yes?”

  Alex was not happy at this rate as he questioned her with his tone filled with helplessness

  “Cousin! Can you at least be fair, at this rate we’ll be done in a few minutes! Can’t you make it a bit hard for her!?”

  “I could cousin, I wished I could help you. But what can I do, I just want to get married to her.”

  Aqua’s teasing voice came through with a hint of ughter

  ‘bad girl. Bullying her family like this’

  That stunned Alex into silence as he sighed helplessly and simply continued with the questions he said we were done in a few minutes since the questions were all about her and after she conceded the st question I finally spoke up

  “Cousin Alex, how long did the trials take then?”

  Alex seemed fed up with life but he did answer me

  “42 minutes and 9 seconds. Congratutions. She’s at the top floor “

  My cousins cheered at the fact that I set a new record as the Charming cousins headed into the mansion with my cousins following them, Grey hurriedly came to touch up my makeup as Lynn handed me a ptinum credit card that was supposedly full and pushed me to get my bride.

  I already knew the way yesterday so I simply went into the elevator and clicked the top floor, it reached there in a few seconds as I looked at the immacutely designed walkway that led to the only door on the floor. I knocked thrice before the door was opened by Liliana and several other women, they blocked the door and well the room. I sighed as I brought out the card that was pced in my vest pocket and handed it to Liliana

  “Full. Eight zeros. Can I take the bride now?”

  They giggled took the card and left the floor, leaving only me and Aqua as I stepped in.

  Aqua was resting on the bed wearing a beautiful all-red bridal dress, it was a strapless corset style dress so her waist upwards was fitted tightly showing off her beautiful figure and the lower length of the dress was sleek and flowing and there were tiny pearls embedded all over the dress, the whole bed was occupied by her dress, her hair was put into soft curls that bounced with every movement and her makeup was simply perfection accentuating her eyes as her face was covered by a bck beaded veil.

  She was simply the most beautiful person in the world

  “You’re simply… Breathtaking.”

  She ughed at my words as I helped her put on her heels before coming to her side and asking

  “So madam, how exactly do you want me to carry you?”

  Her red lips smiled teasingly as her eyes glowed with amusement

  “I’ve never experienced a princess carry before, it doesn’t sound bad.”

  “A princess carry? To the first floor? We’re on the tenth-floor madam, how cruel!”

  “Oh, I thought all Starrs were big and strong, where’s your strength wife.”

  I simply sighed in resignation, it’s my fault for compining when I already knew. What can I do, I simply have to spoil her

  “Then madam. Help me with my tie.”

  I said and leaned closer to her, so she could easily access it and her dainty hands loosened the tie and pulled it away, the vest of my dress started to fall apart after the tie was removed and my dress suit hurriedly transformed into a bck and red sleeveless glem, which was designed like a tux but filled with little pearls embedded into it, the dress part was bundled up on the floor as I reached at Aqua and pced my hands behind her knee and held her waist, with a light sigh I carried her into my arms, her left hand looping around my neck as her right hand started tracing my biceps

  “Mm. A strong wife… Strong and beautiful, nice combo”

  It was itchy where she was tracing so I lightly coughed and tried to get her to stop. Key word tried

  “If you do that I might drop you.”

  “I dare you!”

  “Sigh. Never mind.”

  She ughed happily again as she swung he feet lightly, a groan escaped my lips as I held her soft body tighter menting her being this pyful.

  “Do you even eat? You’re so light!”

  “Hush.”
